PulseMix Radio CIC Partners with Anxious Minds to Strengthen Mental Health Support Across the North East
PulseMix Radio CIC is pleased to announce a new partnership with Anxious Minds, one of the North East’s leading mental health charities supporting people in crisis. The collaboration brings together two community‑focused organisations committed to improving access to mental health support, reducing stigma, and giving local people a stronger voice.
A Partnership Built on Shared Values
Anxious Minds has generously donated office furniture and computer equipment to help PulseMix develop its new community studio — a space that will support local broadcasting, community projects, and future outreach work. The donation marks the beginning of a long‑term relationship built on shared purpose and a commitment to supporting wellbeing across the region.
In return, PulseMix will support Anxious Minds through:
- Event hosting and compering — providing presenters and hosts for Anxious Minds events
- Advertising and promotion — raising awareness of Anxious Minds’ services across PulseMix radio, web, and social platforms
- The Anxious Minds Radio Show — a dedicated programme exploring mental health topics, sharing lived experiences, and signposting listeners to support
Working Together for a Healthier Community
By combining PulseMix’s broadcasting reach with Anxious Minds’ frontline expertise, the partnership aims to create safe spaces for conversation, connection, and recovery — both on‑air and in the community.
A Message from Dave, Founder and Director of PulseMix Radio CIC
“I know first‑hand the power that talking and seeking help can have. I’ve faced my own mental health challenges in the past, and counselling made a real difference for me. Radio has always been more than entertainment — it’s a way to connect people, to comfort them, and to remind them they’re not alone. Partnering with Anxious Minds means we can use our platform to support people when they need it most.”
A Message from Eddie, Chief Officer of Anxious Minds
“Working with PulseMix Radio will give local people a voice across the North East. We look forward to working with them on this great project and strengthening the support available to our communities.”
