PulseMix Radio Celebrates Its First Birthday and Strengthens Community Partnerships

, ,

PulseMix Radio is celebrating its first birthday after a landmark year of local broadcasting, community engagement, and inclusive opportunities for presenters of all abilities. The station has quickly become a creative hub for Bishop Auckland, delivering hundreds of hours of live shows and championing local voices.

A major highlight of the year has been PulseMix’s new partnership with Anxious Minds, who have donated office furniture and computer equipment to support the development of the station’s community studio. The collaboration also includes PulseMix providing event hosting, advertising support.

With three disabled and learning‑impaired presenters already thriving on air, PulseMix continues to prove that radio is for everyone. As the station enters year two, it’s inviting more local people to get involved. Let us meet the team.
