i’ve been completely sport-obsessed since the age of four. Over the years, I’ve stood on the Gallowgate End at Newcastle, skied down the famous Hahnenkamm in Kitzbühel, followed the Durham Wasps ice hockey team home and away, and even held a season ticket at Anfield for a couple of seasons. Safe to say, if it involves a ball, a puck, or a pitch, I’m into it!

When I was asked if I wanted to do my own show covering All Sorts of North East Sport, I jumped at the chance to talk about the local sporting scene I love so much.

Away from the mic, I stay pretty busy! I’m the Director and Chairman of Durham City FC, serve as a local councillor, volunteer at my village community centre, and had the absolute honor of serving as Mayor of Durham City last year. Most importantly, I’m supported by my wife, our two children, a lovely granddaughter, and two dogs who keep me on my toes.
