PulseMix Radio is a registered Community Interest Company (CIC), created to serve Bishop Auckland and the surrounding areas with truly local, not‑for‑profit broadcasting. Every penny we raise goes straight back into supporting our volunteers, our listeners, and our community.
We’re proud to already have learning‑impaired and registered disabled presenters on our team. They bring passion, personality, and a unique voice to the station, and our goal is to expand these opportunities even further.
To do that, we’re building a brand‑new studio space in Tindale Crescent. This dedicated space will allow us to:
- Train new local presenters
- Provide a safe, supportive environment for volunteers of all abilities
- Create more community‑focused programming
- Offer hands‑on experience with real broadcasting equipment
- Strengthen the role of community radio in Bishop Auckland
To bring this studio to life, we need help funding essential equipment and furnishings — everything from microphones and mixers to desks, seating, and acoustic treatment.
