An eight-year-old boy from Doncaster is making a name for himself in the Donk music scene he will be performing his first DJ set on Decades of Donk with DJ Ham this Friday 6pm-8pm on Pulsemix Radio.
Known as DJ Jax, the young talent has been mentored by DJ Ham of PulseMix Radio, a respected figure with loads of experience in the Donk scene. Jax’s passion for music began after watching DJs DJ Illsley and DJ Dangerous Dave, whose performances inspired him to pursue DJing for himself.
He also became a huge fan of the Dirty Kitchen Ravers, often mimicking their actions and performances long before receiving his first set of decks, a Pioneer DDJ-FLX4, around eighteen months ago.
Supported by his parents, Gina and Mark, and his older brother McKenzie, Jax quickly developed his skills and confidence behind the decks. His first live appearance came at a birthday party for Dobbsy, followed by a performance for Bounceology, where he impressed crowds with his enthusiasm and growing talent.
DJ Jax is now preparing for his next event at Apex Bounce. Continuing what has already been an incredible journey for the young Doncaster DJ.
With strong support from his family, mentors, and the Donk community and now Pulsemix Radio. DJ Jax is proving that passion, dedication, and a love of music can help achieve remarkable things at any age.
